LED Modules and Applications

In 2005 Walsin Lihwa commenced the R&D of LED modules and applications, focusing on high power lighting sources to integrate lighting specifications for customers to lower their costs incurred by selecting lighting sources. As a result, customers are able to rapidly determine their products and secure their market shares. The technologies for existing products include low-temperature co-fired ceramics (LTCC), chip array, and the patent optical package substrate (OPS) developed by Walsin Lihwa. Walsin Lihwa is committed to the R&D of next generation, rugged LED modules by focusing on brightness enhancement and thermo conductivity in order to effectively develop the market of new applications. LED module products are primarily used as the lighting source for indoor and outdoor lighting.

Product Introduction :

LTCC :

• The LTCC series utilizes ceramic-silver composite as its base material, whose heat ventilation is superior to conventional plastic base materials.
• Applications: Indoor, outdoor, and portable lighting
• Power consumption: 0.5W, 1W, and 3W
• Color temperature: Warm white, natural white, and cold white from 2,670 - 10,000K
• Lighting efficiency: > 70 Lm/W
  

OPS :

• The I-LED series utilizes silicon substrates as its base material of low heat resistance.
• Applications: Indoor, outdoor, and portable lighting
• Power consumption: 5W, and 10W
• Color temperature: Warm white, natural white, and cold white from 2,670 - 10,000K

Chip Array :

• The chip array series utilizes brass substrates as its base material of low heat resistance, and is specially designed for heavy-duty power and high luminous flux applications.
• Applications: Commercial and industrial lighting, streetlights, floodlights, and wash wall lights
• Power consumption: 10W, 20W, 30W, 50W, 70W, and 100W
• Color temperature: Warm white, natural white, and cold white from 2,670 - 10,000K
• Lighting efficiency: > 70 Lm/W
